Today, the group numbers more than 100 strong. Its sole mission is to support active-duty troops by packing and sending monthly care-package boxes of candy, books, and toiletry essential to those serving overseas, particularly in Iraq and Afghanistan. Proceeds from cookbook sales and the Group's annual events, including its early-fall golf tournament and Yard Sale, provide all the supplies and shipping for the care packages to be sent overseas.

To order a cookbook for yourself and one or more to give as Christmas gifts, contact the Group soon. Volume II copies are limited, and are spiral-bound with a sturdy, laminated cover.
